BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

A successful candidate for this position is a highly-skilled sales professional who is most comfortable and successful selling into the executive level of prospect or client. They are responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. The role requires a business develpment director to effectively lead a team through the qualification, strategy, proposal, and closing phases of the sales process and to bring new opportunities to Inet Network.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy

  • Implements strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals
  • Maintains an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets
  • Responsible for transferring accounts to Account Manager and/or play an on-going role in client services as needed

Lead Generation

  • Researches and develops list of potential clients
  • Proactively identifies, locates, and qualifies new business leads
  • Establishes & maintains industry contacts that lead to closing business
  • Diligently follows up on and develops sales leads
  • Represents Inet Network at trade association meetings/events to promote services

Reporting

  • Monitors, analyzes, & communicates sales data, via contact management software, to contribute to product/service planning
  • Participates in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner
  • Produces regular reports, final plans, and forecast reports

Proposal & Presentation Process

  • Orchestrates the sales process from lead identification through close
  • Owns the sales/proposal process and is the owner of the proposal and any contact/correspondence with the client/prospect
  • Understands client/prospect's requirements and is able to direct pursuit activities with internal team
  • Coordinates with the operations group on scope, timeline and price
  • Sets and manages client expectations and proactively communicates with client during sales cycle
  • Develop and own the preparation of presentations to numerous prospects/clients simultaneously
  • Successfully and professionally delivers presentations to key clients

Negotiation & Contracts

  • Negotiates and closes deals

Required Educational and Experience qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; MBA preferred
  • Must have 5+ years Professional Services sales experience within the Internet technology space
  • Ability to consistently achieve or exceed set quotas
  • Experience in structured solution sales methodology (complex sales)
  • Experience with retail e-commerce highly desirable
  • Impeccable client-facing skills including verbal presentations and written documentation
  • Strong team-player
  • Highly organized and capable of handling several projects simultaneously
  • Travel is a requirement; domestic and possibly international
  • Strategic / marketing thinking

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Based on the interactive communication objectives and storyboards produced by the Information Architect, the Graphic Designer is responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of design concepts throughout all phases of a project. The GD collaborates with the Client, Creative Team and other project members on a variety of creative deliverables, which may include the creative brief, competitor site analysis, user interface design, "look and feel," branding characteristics/requirements and style guide. A Designer at Inet Network is on the pulse of current online advertising trends with the wisdom and imagination to know how to apply design to maximize the result. The ideal candidate takes a dynamic part in the creation of web advertising from a conceptual standpoint, collaborating with peers of different disciplines within the agency and direct creative to orchestrate a highly creative and effective result.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Client and Project Team to assess creative needs and make design recommendations based on project objectives. Conceptualize, guide, and explain creative goals and their relationship to site design.
  • Conduct and lead internal and client creative reviews to present concepts and refine direction of site as well as coordinate the daily needs of the project.
  • Collaborates with Project Management, Production, Engineering, and QA to produce and manage creative documentation, concepts and assets.
  • Develops concepts and/or implements the broader concepts established by Creative Lead. Works on concepts through development, refinement of direction, and final adjustments, which then lead to full production of the project's design.
  • Supports Sales Executives, Creative Leads, Program Managers, and Project Managers by scoping new/existing projects and providing timeline/project hour estimates.
  • Develops visual design to support and accommodate user interface, information design, interactive design, current technology, and client requirements.
  • Works with quality assurance staff to correct performance problems.
  • Conscientious of budgetary, timeline, and workflow responsibilities.
  • Mentoring of creative staff on issues of client relations, design, user interfaces, information design, interactive design, current technology, documentation and production coordination.
  • Is aware of department strengths and weaknesses and helps to guide the department in matters of creativity and design, process, client relations, work environment, technology (etc.) as needed.

Job Specifications

Graphic Designers must be conceptual, strategic, and client-savvy. Candidates must have expert skills in PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash and ImageReady and a strong understanding of designing site architectures, user interfaces, and intuitive navigation schemes. The ability to demonstrate design and some coding skills in HTML, CSS and ActionScript a plus.

Education and/or Experience

Minimum 4 years of Web design experience. Advertising, Design or Interactive experience a plus. BFA (or equivalent college degree specializing in design) or equivalent on the job experience.

Language Skills

Must be a clear and compelling communicator. Should be able to present strategy, concepts and ideas to clients in a convincing manner. Should have the ability to logically present design options and suggestions verbally and in writing. Must be able to communicate closely with team members to guide conceptualization and production of a project.

Reasoning Ability

Must be able to grasp a client's brand and business, and be able to make intelligent choices regarding design imperatives and technical requirements.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Responsible for application programming, games, web applications and advanced technology broad band implementation. Technical consultation and prototyping. Approximately eighty five percent of time spent coding and fifteen percent of time spent working with clients on implementation.

Required Skills

C/C++, Java, JavaScript, MS ASP, Perl, VB, Sybase, Oracle, MSSQL.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree or higher from a rigorous academic program at an accredited college or university. CS, mathematics and EE degrees preferred. Liberal Arts degrees will be considered if the applicant has demonstrated and interest and ability in computer programming and computer technologies.

SEO MANAGER

For this position, we are seeking a combination of technical and marketing savvy to optimize natural search engine rankings. The successful SEO Manager or SEO Pro will use Inet Network tools and systems to track site rankings, traffic, and, ultimately, sales. This position requires excellent computer and Internet skills, SEO experience, and a desire to master the craft of search engine ranking.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The successful SEO/SEM Manager will use Inet Network tools to track site rankings, traffic, and ultimately sales. This data will be used to develop plans for improving sites positioning. Successful candidates will have a strong working knowledge of Web design, SEO/SEM, and online marketing. The job requires excellent computer and Internet skills, and a desire to understand search engine ranking methods.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty of the job and accept special projects as assigned.

Search Engine Optimization

  • Optimize Websites for search engines: HTML, site structure, and page layout issues
  • Research and resolve link architecture, html code, content and navigation issues
  • Build quality link partners
  • Identify and implement strategies for increasing traffic through organic search listings without creating the risk of sites being blacklisted
  • Build on understanding of how search engines and their spiders work by conducting research and reporting key developments and news
  • Create and maintain a development standards document/checklist to ensure efficient and accurate implementation of search optimization strategies

Tracking and Reporting

  • Continually monitor organic search rankings to maximize traffic and sales
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the campaign
  • Create and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for multiple online sites and promotion

Keyword Research

  • Keyword research including cataloging and indexing target keyword phrases
  • Keyword research using WordTracker, Overture, Google and internal tools.
  • Create, categorize and refine keyword lists to drive qualified visitors to client and partner sites.
    Experience

Qualifications and Experience

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty of the job and accept special projects as assigned.

  • Candidates should have 2+ years experience in online marketing preferably doing search engine optimization
  • Search engine marketing optimization and paid advertising - strongly preferred Bachelors degree (B.A.) in Information Science, Business, English, Journalism, Advertising, or Communications from four-year college or university
  • Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. Self-directed when faced with computer and software support issues. Knowledge and experience with HTML and Excel Macros strongly preferred.
  • Experience downloading reports from the Internet and creating reports with the downloaded data
  • Search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and affiliate marketing experience highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage details, efficient work habits, and flexibility. Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment along with the ability to accept interruptions as part of the routine
  • Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
