Innsbrook

This two-story brick and pre-cast speculative office building is located at the corner of Cox and Nuckols Road in the growing Innsbrook Place Office Development in Henrico County, Virginia. This innovative building project was a joint venture between the design firms of Commonwealth Architects and Ai.

One of the most unusual features of this building is that the heating and cooling climates are controlled by a geothermal system. Columns in the building are located only at the building’s core and at the exterior walls rendering a typical floor plate virtually column free. The building was designed with oversize bays, typically 27’ x 20’, to accommodate the varying needs of potential tenants.
